Chris Lake x Tiga

When Tiga and Chris Lake get together, of course it’s “Party Time.”

On their debut collaboration, two tastemakers who’ve each left an indelible mark on dance/electronic music by pulling from vastly different sounds come together in a way that just works. Their mutual club edge stays sharp as Tiga and Aatig trade hooks in a jaunty, assertive, and damn near hypnotic back-and-forth: “Party time is my time and my time is party time/Party time is my time/My time is party time.” Good luck getting that one out of your head.

"Tiga has been one of those artists I've always admired. He's had such a lasting impact on dance music and continues to create at such a high level. I'm excited for people to finally hear what we created together," Lake says.

Listen below.

While the Black Book Records boss and HOTLIFE album maker have found success with their distinct styles, “Party Time” highlights what they have in common: high-octane heft, razor-sharp precision, and a delicious sense of tension that makes the whole thing feel downright sexy. Fortunately, the road to its release has been on the shorter side.

In classic Chris Lake and Tiga fashion, it didn’t take long for the track to command attention following its initial preview midway through the year, and after recently detonating during Lake's mainstage set at Kappa Futur Festival in Italy, “Party Time” now arrrives via his label.
