This week's releases are proof that the past often shapes the best music of the present. From heartfelt reflections and deeply personal tributes to timeless classics reimagined for a new generation, these records blend cherished memories with fresh ideas, creating moments equally suited for headphones, clubs, and festival stages.

Sometimes the best way to move forward is to look back. Rather than relying on today's endless studio possibilities, Push chose to rebuild the creative setup that accompanied his earliest productions, embracing the limitations that once defined his workflow. The result is an album that feels unmistakably Push - packed with euphoric melodies, intricate arrangements, and the timeless qualities that continue to inspire new generations of trance fans.

The idea behind Known Universe was to revisit the world that shaped me as a producer—not just the sounds, but the tools and creative environment behind my earliest records. I challenged myself to create the entire album using the same generation of hardware that helped shape From Beyond.

HALIENE and Nikademis wear their hearts on their sleeves with “Don't Give Up On Me”, an emotional dance-pop ballad that gradually unfolds into something much bigger. Cinematic breakdowns, uplifting synth builds, and subtle drum & bass influences create a powerful backdrop for HALIENE’s unmistakable vocals, turning the track into a deeply moving listening experience.

At its core, “Don't Give Up On Me” is about those quiet moments when a relationship begins to slip away, not through one dramatic event, but through distance, missed conversations, and fading hope. Honest, vulnerable, and ultimately hopeful, it’s a reminder that sometimes love is worth fighting for before it’s too late.

Indecent Noise breathes new life into Storm’s classic “We Love”, transforming it into a full-throttle 150 BPM hard trance weapon. Keeping the original’s unmistakable dark atmosphere and twisted vocals while dialing up the intensity, it’s a reminder that the songs we grew up with often find their way back to us, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.

I first fell in love with Storm’s ‘We Love’ as a teenager back in 2001. The idea for my own version had been brewing for years, but everything finally clicked in this January. After seeing the crowd reaction to an early demo, I knew I had to finish it. Getting the official blessing from Arny and Rolf makes this a true full-circle moment.

Some records carry a story that goes far beyond music, and “Mallorca's Superstar” is one of them. Originally written by Mark Sherry as a tribute to his late friend and dance music pioneer Mallorca Lee, the composition returns to the hands of Solarstone, who wraps its cinematic emotion in a beautiful blend of pure and progressive trance. Thoughtful, uplifting, and deeply moving, the remix honors both the original piece and a friendship that stretched back decades.

My personal tribute to Mallorca Lee was a very difficult track to write, but I was so proud of it when I finally finished it. Rich was the only artist I could trust to remix such a personally moving and sentimental track, and I’m incredibly grateful for what he’s created.

CYRUS returns to Force of Habit with “Frequencies”, a dark and energetic tech house cut built for peak-time moments. Blending bass house influences with driving tech grooves, hypnotic female vocals, punchy drums, and sharp call-and-response synths, the production delivers an infectious groove that refuses to let up.

Created with the dancefloor in mind, “Frequencies” strikes a balance between familiar club sounds and CYRUS' own production identity. It's a confident, high-energy record that has already proven itself as a standout moment in his live sets.

With “Way Back Home”, Dark Fusion embraces the euphoric side of trance that first sparked his passion for the genre. Blending delicate piano passages, soaring synths, and a gradually unfolding sense of euphoria, this entirely instrumental production lets its melodies speak for themselves, celebrating music's ability to connect through feeling alone.

I created this track as a reminder of what first made me fall in love with trance music - those pure, uplifting moments that need no words, only emotion. ‘Way Back Home’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for me, one focused on authentic, melodic, and emotionally driven uplifting trance.

Who doesn't remember those days of switching between MTV and VIVA, discovering dance anthems that instantly became the soundtrack to summer? Chances are “Sunshine” was one of them. Exactly 25 years later, Dance Nation joins forces with Renaisshouse and Rave Republic to reimagine the classic for today's audiences, preserving its nostalgic charm before launching it into a modern, festival-ready finale.

I've always been a huge fan of ‘Sunshine’ by Dance Nation, and I wanted to revisit it in my own sound and give it a modern twist. We think it could be a track that will accompany us throughout this summer festival season and be played on the biggest stages around the world.

We couldn't believe that ‘Sunshine’ came out 25 years ago. It already had everything we love in dance music: euphoric chords, a catchy melody, and a memorable vocal. We felt it deserved to be rediscovered by a new generation, so together with Dance Nation and Renaisshouse we gave it a fresh makeover, combining an aggressive first drop with our signature hands-in-the-air synth finale.
