Nitefreak: Leading The Afro-Progressive House Movement

From Bulawayo to the world stage, the Zimbabwean artist continues to expand his sonic and cultural footprint with new music, a global tour, and the rise of HiNDE.

Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Nitefreak has become one of the leading names in Afro House, known for blending African influences with electronic music. Over the years, Nitefreak has collaborated with and released music alongside artists such as Afrojack, Francis Mercier, Black Coffee, and RÜFÜS DU SOL. His music has also received support from Keinemusik, Solomun, Diplo, Bedouin, Vintage Culture, and many others.

In 2021, Nitefreak launched HiNDE, an Afro House movement and event brand that began in Zimbabwe and has since expanded internationally, with showcases in New York, Miami, Mauritius, and more to come, creating opportunities for artists and helping showcase African electronic music on a global stage.

In 2025, he founded Afroholic Records, a label focused on supporting and promoting raw Afro House talent from around the world, including artists such as: Samuel Cosmic, Choujaa, and MJ Sings, with many more to come.

Nitefreak continues to tour globally, performing across Africa, North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, with appearances at major venues and events such as Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience, MOGA Festivals, HiNDE showcases, and many more.
His recent releases include the official remix of Afrojack & Eva Simons' “Take Over Control” via Spinnin’ Records and “Isinwika” with Choujaa and Maline Aura via Afroholic Records.
