mölly Unveils Debut Album ‘22’ - A Meditation on Trust
Out Friday 21st August on Colorize.

For mölly, music has always been a way of making sense of the human experience. Drawing from years of yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry, she approaches her production as a process of exploration, allowing emotion, intuition, and lived experience to guide the work.
Having only begun releasing music in July 2024, her ascent has been remarkable, building a global audience drawn to the emotional honesty and human depth at the heart of her work. She has amassed more than 20 million Spotify streams, including over 4 million for her breakthrough debut single ‘Here Again’ and a further 5 million across her debut EP ‘Rushing In’.
Support has followed from some of electronic music's most respected names, including Nora En Pure, Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond and Tritonal, while over 500 spins on SiriusXM Chill have helped introduce her music to listeners worldwide. Along the way, she has shared stages with Lane 8, Kaskade, Tiësto, Christian Löffler and Mees Salomé, performing across North America, Europe and Asia at events including Dreamstate, We Belong Here Miami, Elsewhere New York and Amsterdam Dance Event.
Despite the momentum, ‘22’ came from a much more intimate place. The recurring appearance of the number 22 became a guiding thread throughout her creative process, a reminder to trust in something larger than herself, and in a timing she could not yet fully understand. What began as an exploration of unity, love and belonging gradually became a deeper question: what are we asked to release in order to receive the very things we have been searching for? In time, those themes revealed themselves not only as ideas to write about, but as truths mölly was being asked to live.
"Looking back, 22 feels less like an album I made and more like a journey I was asked to take,” says mölly. “It challenged so many of the stories I held about myself, about my worth, about love and about what it means to be an artist. More than anything, it taught me that the things I was trying so hard to prove were never things I had to earn in the first place.”
That process can be heard across the album’s eleven tracks. Expanding beyond the conventions of melodic house, ‘22’ incorporates mixed meter time signatures, vast atmospherics and intricate arrangements while remaining rooted in emotional clarity. Moving through longing, hope, love and transformation, the album invites listeners into a world that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Featuring a series of acclaimed collaborations released throughout 2026, including ‘find you’ with MØØNE, ‘the art of letting go’ alongside Hessian and LeyeT, and ‘edges’ with FARLEY, the album also introduces a collection of previously unheard material. New collaborations with OCULA and Mees Salomé sit alongside some of mölly’s most personal solo productions to date, showcasing both the emotional range and sonic evolution of the project.
From the reflective opening moments of ‘drops of oil’ through to the closing emotional resonance of ‘calling me’, the album reflects the tension between control and surrender, certainty and faith, light and shadow, searching and arriving.
More than a collection of songs, ‘22’ captures a pivotal chapter in mölly’s artistic journey and offers a reminder that even when the path is unclear, something within us still knows how to keep moving forward.
As she continues a growing international touring schedule throughout 2026, with appearances in London, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Toronto and Amsterdam, ‘22’ arrives as the clearest expression yet of mölly's vision and purpose.
At a time when listeners are increasingly searching for music that feels personal, emotional and lasting, ‘22’ positions mölly at the forefront of a new generation of artists bringing humanity, vulnerability and intention back to electronic music.
