Remix SIPPY and Bianca’s “KILLA” for a Chance at an Official Deadbeats Release
Change The Beat, LabelRadar and Deadbeats invite women and gender-expansive producers to remix SIPPY and Bianca’s “KILLA” for a chance at an official Deadbeats release.

Change The Beat, LabelRadar, Native Instruments and Deadbeats have teamed up for a new remix contest built around SIPPY and Bianca’s bass-heavy track “KILLA.”
The contest invites women and gender-expansive producers from the Change The Beat community to download the official stems, flip the track in their own style, and submit their remix through LabelRadar for a chance at an official release on Deadbeats, plus prizes from Native Instruments.
Released on Deadbeats, “KILLA” gives producers plenty to bite into: sharp vocal energy from Bianca, heavyweight low-end, and SIPPY’s unmistakable bass-floor bite. Now, the track is being opened up for new versions from the next wave of producers.
Speaking about this new remix challenge, SIPPY told Beatportal:
“I hope to encourage female and gender non-conforming people to show their take on my track. Remixes are such a great way to explore your creativity and sound whilst still having some structure already baked in. Even if they are downloading the stems purely to play around on their own, it’s still another great step! Remixes are where I first started exploring my artistry and to this day is something that I really enjoy doing.”
Founded by Sydney Blu, Change The Beat is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented voices in electronic music through mentorship, education, remix contests, workshops, events, and artist development programs. Originally launched as #23by23 with support from Native Instruments and Beatport, the initiative has helped facilitate more than 100 artist signings with labels around the world.
Sydney Blu added:
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Deadbeats on this remix contest. As one of the most respected labels in bass music, this is a huge opportunity for the producers in our community. SIPPY is an inspiring artist whose music has made a real impact on the scene, and I’m looking forward to hearing the creative directions producers take with the stems. The response from our community has already been amazing, and we’re thrilled to work alongside Deadbeats to help showcase emerging talent.”
To enter, producers must identify as a woman or gender-expansive, join the Change The Beat Discord, download the stems through LabelRadar, and submit their remix through the official contest page.
