Manuel Ribeca teams up with Sohail on this 3 track tech house masterclass

Ibiza’s Manuel Ribeca maximized ‘Ryder’ status on Clarisse’s volume 11 collection from last year; now partnering with Sohail, bringing some Down Under thunder out of Sydney Australia, the pair put on three house tracks packed with attitude and action.

By themselves these will start any party, but the pair’s potent particulars and programming has the trio playing on the edge. A riot of samba drums and rattlesnake percussion on top of thick kick drums has ‘Bus Down’ laying down a marker and putting the pedal to the parade, with its hollers of ‘feel good’ the fiery icing on a groove-stacked cake that’ll get crowds moving from the first drop.

‘Loui Bag’ - again, expressing expensive taste through its highly charged vocals (“act up and get snatched up”) that’ll have gun fingers gripping sparklers and champagne - rounds off the EP. Bass bounds down with full focus on festival season, and Sohail and Ribeca come on strong like gangsters in flip-flops. ‘Bus Down’ = hands up.
