Jersey Club electronic hybrid pioneer 4B made his debut on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label with his upcoming single “WHAT IS THIS.”

The single defines a new chapter. “WHAT IS THIS” shows 4B delving into dubstep sonics while staying true to his recognizable sound. Weaving relentless basslines, slamming drums and a clever Jersey Club switch up, “WHAT IS THIS” is set to become a festival weapon this summer.

I've always been a huge fan of Deadbeats, from playing with Zeds Dead early Mad Decent days. Full circle moment releasing with them. I incorporated a monologue type breakdown in this song about growth and adaptation—because that’s what this track is for me. A new chapter, without losing what I've always created.

As electronic music continues to evolve across genres, 4B continues pushing his sound forward by pulling influence from across the dance music spectrum while still keeping the raw, high-energy style that helped define his career from the start.

Known for helping shape the fusion of Jersey Club and electronic music, 4B brings together the high-energy elements that have defined his sound into one hard-hitting record. Packed with heavy drops, playful vocal moments, and crowd-focused energy, the track blends the classic 4B sound fans know with a fresh, updated approach that reflects where he is creatively today.

The release arrives as 4B enters a new chapter following a recent headline performance in Los Angeles and back-to-back shows in Bangkok, marking a strong presence on the global stage. After more than a decade of shaping dance music culture and earning support from marquee names like I Hate Models, Tiesto, Skrillex, Diplo, Steve Aoki, RL Grime and more as he continues to evolve his sound while bringing the high-energy style fans know him for.
