FAULHABER & Kooyman Resurrect a Dance Music Classic on ‘Satisfaction’

There are few records more embedded in the DNA of electronic music than Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction.” Released in 2002, the electro house landmark helped define a generation of club culture - and now, Dutch duo FAULHABER and Kooyman are putting their stamp on it.

The collaboration arrives via Municipal Recordings, and leans into the tension between nostalgia and forward momentum. FAULHABER - the Amsterdam-based producer whose credits include a global smash with Alok and Vintage Culture - brings the polished, high-energy production sensibility that has made him a fixture on mainstages from Tomorrowland to Ushuaïa Ibiza. Kooyman, a consistent presence in the tech house space, adds a melodic depth that keeps the track from feeling like a straight-up throwback.
