Veerus & Mattia Saviolo unveil debut collaboration 'Move Your Body' on Drumcode
The Italian pair craft a peak-time gem.
Veerus & Mattia Saviolo team up for Drumcode debut collaboration ‘Move Your Body’ Italian producers Veerus and Mattia Saviolo have joined forces for the first time on new Drumcode release ‘Move Your Body’.
While the collaboration marks their debut as a duo, both artists are already familiar names within the label's catalogue. Veerus has built a longstanding relationship with Drumcode across five EPs since 2018, including standout cuts such as ‘Hypnosis’, ‘System’ and ‘Cycle’. Saviolo, meanwhile, made his label debut last year with ‘Parallel Dimension’ on A-Sides Vol. 10.
The idea for a collaboration came directly from Veerus, with the pair meeting in the studio and building the track from scratch over the course of two days.
We started completely from scratch, with no ideas prepared in advance and no project exchanges before meeting. In just two days the track was finished and everything happened very naturally. We both brought our own vision into the process without stepping on each other’s toes, which made the collaboration feel effortless from start to finish.

Built around a driving riff and vocal hook, ‘Move Your Body’ balances groove and tension before opening up into a more forceful final section.
The release is completed by Saviolo’s solo contribution, ‘Mindframe’, a futuristic techno cut that further showcases the Italian producer’s evolving sound following his recent Drumcode debut.
