Skrillex Drops Collaboration-Heavy Album 'SOMA' Featuring Chris Lake, Feid & More

After teasing his fifth studio album on Instagram Stories just days ago, Skrillex continues a remarkably active 2026 with the release of SOMA. The collaboration-heavy project includes the previously released singles “Thistle,” “Smoke,” and “Duro,” as well as two tracks with Chris Lake — “É o Bonde” and “LA NOCHE” follow-up, “La Noche 2” — and productions alongside ISOxo, Feid, Naisha, and Beam, among others. 

While there’s plenty of flash and Latin flavor on SOMA, the LP’s brightest highlight may be its title track. Formerly known as “POOSHA,” “Soma” with Nitepunk has been one of Skrillex’s most feverishly awaited IDs since it debuted during his set at Ultra Miami last March. After capturing attention at Bayfront Park, the song soared even higher following appearances in the producer’s performances at Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina. Listen below.

SOMA follows CONTRA, the 70-plus artist festival that took over power-station-turned-event-complex Kraftwerk Berlin from May 30-31. With the launch of the platform and event series and the release of his first album since F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 (2025), Skrillex locks into a bold new era.
