Beatrice M. - Sinking

Genre: 140 / Deep Dubstep; Electronica; Minimal / Deep Tech
Label: Tectonic

Beatrice M. is rising fast, and for good reason. Few artists right now are handling deep dubstep, UK soundsystem weight, and adjacent club mutations with this much sincerity, patience, and skill. Their album Sinking, out now on Pinch's Tectonic, feels like the right record on the right label, pulling from dubstep, techno, and the tougher swing of old-school tech house without treating any of it like reference-point decoration. The Paris-born artist has been building real underground momentum through their Bait label and releases for Tempa, TraTraTrax, and SPE:C. Much of the album began as sketches made on long train rides across Europe, and that motion is baked into the record. It moves with purpose: heavy, detailed, never rushed, and locked deep into its own low-end logic and dubbed-out bliss.

Bonafique - Terapia

Genre: Tech House
Label: Crosstown Rebels

After dispensing “WHAT!” at the start of the year, rising Israeli producers Bonafique and Yuvèe meet again on a hypnotic number that’s elicited calls for its release since Day Zero Tulum and now arrives right in time for summer. Driven by a magnetic yet restrained groove, “Profill” is a lithe, idiosyncratic slow-burn that picks up a percussive boost on Josh Baker’s remix. Closing with a title track suited for open-air play under the moonlight, the project feels like a weekend jaunt to a place off the grid, where tech house rhythms wind through the landscape like the verdure itself, evidencing Bonafique’s deft command of texture.

Bou - "No Beg"

Genre: Drum & Bass
Label: Gossip

Bou and the storied UK MC Fatman D come flying out the gate on “No Beg,” a jump-up riot built for the kind of dance floor where subtlety gets left outside of the rave with the empty cans. Out on Bou’s Gossip imprint, the track runs on gruff vocals, rapid-fire bars, foghorn blasts, rude bass drops, and dramatic rises that feel engineered to make the front row lose its manners. The hype is already moving fast, from Bou’s street-dance teaser to his surprise Bristol pop-up at Lost Horizon, and it is easy to see why drum & bass heads are latching on. “No Beg” is loud, rowdy, and proudly party-focused in the best possible way. Gunfingers up!

Cloonee - "I Rhyme Quick"

Genre: Tech House
Label: Def Jam Recordings

“I Rhyme Quick” does what it says on the tin, with slick, quick-tongued verses riding rolling tech house. After rinsing this low-slung groover across stages for some time now, Cloonee drops the track via Def Jam Recordings with a caveat: You won’t find it on his debut LP.

“This track and the next are not on the album,” he wrote on Instagram. “The album is completely new records top to bottom.”

Even so, the single is a solid stopgap for that spins Nice & Smooth’s 1991 hit “Sometimes I Rhyme Slow” into a hip and chunky club cut with the replay button as an inevitable destination. Spin it as many times as you’d like, but remember, “too much of anything makes you an addict.”

Fedde Le Grand - "Monster"

Genre: Tech House
Label: Darklight Recordings

Fedde Le Grand describes "Monster" best himself: “Raw energy. Heavy grooves. Maximum impact.” The Darklight Recordings head returns to his own imprint with a thumping club cut that takes a darker turn than Le Grand’s other two releases this year, “This Is A Groove” and “1, 2 Step.” Suffice it to say, the track’s title isn’t for show.

Prospa - Free Your Mind

Genre: Dance / Pop; House; Tech House
Label: CircoLoco

Free Your Mind – it’s not an option, it’s an imperative. Still, Prospa’s first full-length unfurls not with force but with the sleek, hearty, and sometimes sensual house grooves for which the Leeds duo has built its name. 

The LP takes a coterie of collaborators along for the pursuit, including Cloonee, KETTAMA, Nafe Smallz, Murda Beatz, and Kosmo Kint, who appears on one of Beatportal’s 50 Best Tracks of 2025, “Love Songs,” and its irresistible follow-up, “Body Heat,” which channels warmth and soul. Across 11 tracks, Prospa reaffirm their place among house music’s most in-demand acts while delivering a landmark release for CircoLoco: the first LP ever issued by the label. 

Rex The Dog - Far Out!

Genre: Indie Dance; Electro
Label: Kompakt

Rex The Dog returns with “Far Out!,” a space-disco refit of Son’z Of A Loop Da Loop Era’s 1991 rave cut that trades piano-rush nostalgia for rough saws, a punchy 4/4 kick, and bright analogue synth work. It is playful, but it is not flimsy. The real standout on this two-tracker, though, is “I Need Your Body,” where aching vocals ride a severe, bouncing rhythm while dub effects bend and blur around the edges. As Jake Williams’ long-running alias, Rex The Dog has spent two decades building a world of his own through modular hardware, cartoon-dog charm, and a long-running relationship with Kompakt that helped cement his place in the electro-techno bloodstream. A true electro wizard, Rex has always known how to make machines sound emotional, and this one carries that handmade charge all the way through.

UNIIQU3 - "Mile High Club"

Genre: Bass / Club | Jersey Club
Label: Local Action

UNIIQU3 opens a new chapter with “Mile High Club,” the first single from her forthcoming debut album and a sharp reminder of why her name carries so much weight in the world of Jersey Club. The track comes from the real churn of touring: airports, no sleep, strange calm, sudden chaos, then back into the booth. That push and pull sits in the music. The bounce is still there, but the scope feels bigger, more fluid, and teeming with attitude. After Heartbeats, the Grammy-longlisted “Microdosing,” tours with Tinashe, an opening slot for Beyoncé, and beyond, UNIIQU3 is moving beyond pioneer status. The Queen of Jersey Club continues to expand the genre and her own profile with an ecstatic and "upgraded" sound that makes systems jump into action.

DJ Seinfeld - If This Is It
