Benny Benassi and Felix Da Housecat Launch ‘Chicago Baby’ Remix Competition with Ultra Records
Benny Benassi and Felix Da Housecat are inviting producers to remix “Chicago Baby” as part of a new Ultra Records competition hosted on LabelRadar, with the winning entry set to receive an official release and tickets to a Benny Benassi headline show.
Ultra Records has teamed up with dance music heavyweights Benny Benassi and Felix Da Housecat to launch a new remix competition for “Chicago Baby”, inviting producers to reimagine the track via LabelRadar.
Built around the enduring house legacy of Benassi and Felix Da Housecat, the contest gives emerging producers a shot at an official Ultra Records release, pending final label approval. The winning entrant will also receive two tickets to a US Benny Benassi headline show of their choice, while one runner up will take home a limited “Feel The Bass” vinyl.
Benassi remains one of electronic music’s most influential figures, with “Satisfaction” and “Cinema” continuing to shape contemporary club culture more than two decades on. Meanwhile, Chicago icon Felix Da Housecat continues his creative resurgence following a recent wave of new material rooted in his signature blend of sleaze, funk and futuristic house.
Entries close at 11:59pm PST on 20 June 2026. The competition is open to residents of the US, Puerto Rico, Canada excluding Quebec, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
