D'ort Presents: An Artisan's Exhibition
A conceptual Frenchcore album charting a journey from misunderstanding to meaning.

D’ort releases his debut conceptual album An Artisan's Exhibition today, a full-length work that reframes Frenchcore as a medium for emotional storytelling. Conceived as a sonic exhibition of inner life, the album is narrated from the perspective of The Artisan: an artist compelled to express through sound what language alone cannot hold.
The album is rooted in emotional, passionate and distinctive Frenchcore. Intense yet intimate, driven by untamed energy but crafted with warmth, care and love. Rather than centering aggression or speed as ends in themselves, D'ort uses the genre as a vessel: every breakbeat, every surge of distortion, weighted with feeling and intent.
The narrative arc moves through misunderstanding and exclusion, into despair and anger, and finally toward hard-won clarity. What begins as an uncomprehended message becomes a confrontational reckoning with emotion, where anger reveals itself as a misleading guide. Only by learning to articulate his feelings does The Artisan discover his true purpose.
The album closes with Dear Warriors — an epilogue addressed directly to listeners, available exclusively on vinyl.
