Copa del Rave is taking its football-meets-club-culture universe off the pitch and into the club.
This summer, the LA-born charity soccer tournament will launch the Copa del Rave Residency, a global watch party series taking over Academy LA and Exchange LA. Built around the summer’s biggest international soccer spectacle, each match-day will pair live games with DJs, promoters, food, drinks, and full-throttle fan energy tied to the nations on-screen.
The lineup is stacked, with Claude VonStroke, DJ Minx, Todd Edwards, Ardalan, Cut Snake, BOLO THE DJ, Blaq Pages, DoKnow El DJ, Life On Planets, Pangea Sound, Soraya, Kana Hishiya, and more set to appear, alongside curator crews including Afrobeats To The World, Gasolina, Reggaeton Rave, Haitian Spotlight, Vibraza Records, and 9AM Banger.
Copa del Rave first kicked off in 2019 as a music industry charity soccer tournament in Los Angeles, later bringing Beatport’s LA squad onto the field alongside teams from Circa, Downtown Music, Red Light Management, Symphonic Distribution, UTA, and more. Having now raised over $75,000 for charity, the residency will support Common Goal this summer season.
