Disastro Has Something to Say - and the Groove to Back It Up
The hybrid live performer and producer makes his XDM Records debut with "They Know."

"They Know" is not a track that asks for your attention — it commands it. Built on a dembow-inspired groove that keeps the body moving from the first beat, the debut XDM Records release from Mexican producer Disastro blends Indie Dance and Afro House into something distinctly its own. Processed and pitched children's vocals weave through the arrangement, adding a playful, unpredictable contrast to the club atmosphere. The inspiration draws from underground club culture and the energy of the Mexican Indie Dance scene — two worlds that, in Disastro's hands, make complete sense together.
Behind the project is a producer with a story as layered as his music. Born from rock roots — he spent a decade in bands and played venues like Teatro Metropolitan and El Lunario del Auditorio Nacional — Disastro found his way into electronic music in 2018 and never looked back. Today he performs hybrid sets with live guitar, bridging the worlds he came from and the one he now helps define. Beyond the stage and studio, he has built a global community of over half a million followers, sharing the real process of developing an artistic project and inspiring a new generation of creators.
With a catalogue that includes releases on Phisica, Mexico's home of Indie Dance and Dark Disco, and now a debut on XDM Records, Disastro is building something with real staying power. "They Know" is the latest proof.
