Francis Mercier, MP3 & Shammalee Channel Faith and Rhythm on ‘Inshallah’
An Afro-house Anthem Rooted in Hope, Manifestation, and Cultural Connection.

On May 1st, Deep Root Tribe, the Afro House imprint of Deep Root Records, unveils ‘Inshallah’, a new collaboration by DJ, producer, and label owner Francis Mercier, German DJ and producer MP3, and South Sudanese artist Shammalee.
Created in Dubai, inspired by its diverse community and vibrant atmosphere, ‘Inshallah’ channels the pure joy of hope and destiny through Afro-house rhythms, warm percussion, and uplifting vocals. It celebrates the power of belief and manifestation, serving as a sonic prayer for dreamers and believers alike. Each beat evokes a sense of celebration, echoing through the dancefloor with heartfelt optimism and cultural pride. This radiant anthem inspires those chasing their purpose, guided by faith, rhythm, and the promise of blessings.
At its core, Inshallah represents a meeting point between cultures, where global electronic sound meets Middle Eastern emotion.
Francis Mercier is a globally celebrated DJ and platinum-selling producer born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Mercier was exposed to a rich tapestry of musical influences from a young age, an experience that helped shape his signature sound. His move from Haiti to New York helped broaden his musical horizons, establishing the groundwork for his career. Mercier is the founder and label boss of Deep Root Records and Solèy, platforms he has used to push boundaries within house music.
Joel Ngom Ngom, also known as MP3, was once a promising football talent who decided early on to hang up his football boots to pursue his true passion: music. Today, he is a sought-after DJ and tours Germany's biggest cities. His journey began when he discovered DJing while playing for Rot-Weiss Essen. After immersing himself in the technical aspects, MP3 started performing regularly in trendy clubs and quickly made a name for himself in the scene. His debut single, ‘Komeza,’ (Deep Root Tribe) was a resounding success, quickly garnering an impressive response.
Born in a refugee camp in Uganda, Shammalee is a South Sudanese singer, DJ, actress, and writer. She began her musical journey in 2010 as a member of her local church choir in Juba, where she built her vocal foundation before expanding into other genres, including Hip-Hop. Her social media presence led to connecting with South Sudanese-Canadian artist Emmanuel Jal, resulting in a collaborative release in 2023.
With Inshallah, Francis Mercier, MP3, and Shammalee deliver a track that reflects movement, belief, and connection across borders. Rooted in shared experience and inspired by Dubai’s multicultural spirit, the record stands as a testament to music’s ability to unite people through rhythm, emotion, and intention.
