Siona Records welcomes Matara with 909 Pulse, a three-track release that leans into rhythm, control, and forward-driving energy

With 909 Pulse, Matara delivers a concise and purposeful statement on Miss Monique's acclaimed imprint, aligning groove-led functionality with his forward-thinking approach to electronic music.

Title track “909 Pulse” sets the tone with a punchy drum foundation and rolling low-end groove. Dubby synth textures and evolving layers shape its character, keeping the flow steady and locked. Focused and functional, it’s a track built with precision for the dancefloor.

On “Cyber Robot,” Matara sharpens the edge, introducing a more mechanical feel through glitchy textures and crisp rhythmic detail. A firm bassline anchors the groove, while repetition and subtle variation drive momentum. Tight and controlled, it keeps dancers fully engaged.

“Strike Mode” closes the release with a more high-impact approach, built around a thick groove, light vocal stabs, and subtle percussive details. The arrangement stays compact and effective, with small shifts adding lift and intensity. Direct and energetic, it’s designed for peak-time moments.

Also known as Bar Matari, Matara has been shaping his sound since 2009, blending House, Indie Dance, and broader electronic influences into a distinctive, evolving style. With releases on Diynamic, Black Rose, Borders Of Light and now, Siona Records, alongside collaborations with artists such as Like Mike, Erly Tepshi, and Rafael Cerato, he continues to refine a sound rooted in experimentation and individuality.
