Andino drops his latest Puro Fuego EP on Clarisse Records
Andino 'Puro Fuego' EP is out now.

The carnival atmosphere is abundant on ‘Puro Fuego’ with its conga line of chants and rash of mariachi horns, but its hot-footing style, grumbling brass and icy string stabs sound like Andino moving you towards the edge of your seat; a little bit of trepidation comes through as if chasing baddies is all part of the carnival ride. Pure fire indeed, streaked in sunshine while showing off a rascally edge.
With another similar bassline step sequence asking questions so that every clubber is under scrutiny, passing flamenco guitars upping the tension and Andino taking a magnifying glass into the DJ booth, ‘Salvaje’ is a second funky house celebration. While it brings a repeated element of nervous pressure, by the same means it brings everyone together under one roof, made to feel at ease by the vocal whooping and hollering set up to snake through cities. Festival season has its firestarter.
Already picking up support from Jamie Jones / Lexlay / Stacey Pullen / Joseph Capriati / Ilario Alicante / Mendo / Ruben Mandolini / Nic Fanciulli / Spega it's lighting things up!
