Danny Avila returns to Drumcode with stunning remix of Bart Skils belter
The Spanish star gives 'All Over My Body' feat. Superchumbo a fresh re-work.
Spanish producer Danny Avila returns to Drumcode with a fresh take on Bart Skils’ ‘All Over My Body’, reworking one of the label’s standout cuts from 2021.
The original, built around a commanding vocal from Tom Stephan (aka Superchumbo), paired Skils’ trademark hypnotic grooves with a vocal that quickly became a fixture in sets that year. Avila’s remix revisits that foundation with a clear sense of intent: update the energy while preserving the essence.
“I’ve always loved this record from Bart, so doing a remix felt really natural,” Avila says. “I just wanted to give it my own touch and bring it into a slightly more updated space while still respecting the original.”
Leaning into a broader palette, he introduces sharper acid textures, more dynamic low-end movement and a refined sense of tension across the arrangement. Subtle chord work builds through the break, before a reworked kick pattern drives a more kinetic drop.
The result is a versatile club tool that threads together progressive, house and techno elements, marking another strong outing for Avila on Drumcode following his 2023 debut ‘My Crew’ featuring Flowdan.
