Spanish producer TOYZZ makes his debut on Truesoul with the two-track release ‘This Beat’.
Hailing from Alicante, TOYZZ has been building a profile with groove-led productions that draw from bass house, tech house and reggae. That blend gives his tracks a warm, low-slung rhythmic feel, heard previously on releases like ‘SexyBack’ and ‘Generation’, the latter earning support from Dom Dolla.
The title track ‘This Beat’ leans into that identity. Built around smoky grooves and a firm vocal lead, it’s a functional, DJ-ready cut with a strong low-end focus. On the flip, ‘Earthquake’ shifts gear slightly, introducing brighter, psy-tinged textures while keeping the emphasis on weighty rhythms and dancefloor impact.
Speaking on the release, TOYZZ says landing on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint marks a significant career milestone for him:
It’s unreal for me to be releasing on Adam Beyer’s label. I’ve been listening to him for years and sending him my music for a long time, so it was a huge surprise when I saw him charting my last release. That’s when I knew 'This Beat' and 'Earthquake' could be a perfect fit, and here we are!
