mölly, Hessian & LeyeT Unite on Emotive New Single ‘the art of letting go’
Out Friday 17th April.

mölly returns to Colorize with ‘the art of letting go’, a deeply emotive new collaboration alongside Hessian and LeyeT, out Friday 17th April.
Blending mölly’s serene production with Hessian’s richly textured sound design and LeyeT’s intimate, heartfelt vocal, the record unfolds as a gentle yet powerful meditation on release and renewal. Rooted in mölly’s signature approach, the track channels her intentional, spacious production style - creating room for connection, reflection and quiet optimism.
Since emerging on Colorize, mölly has quickly established herself as a distinctive voice in melodic house, amassing over 20 million Spotify streams and earning consistent support from artists including Nora En Pure, Sultan + Shepard, Above & Beyond and Tritonal. Her music - defined by its warmth, restraint and emotional depth - draws from her background as a yoga teacher and her belief in music’s capacity to heal, guiding listeners through immersive journeys.
Joining her on the release, UK-based producer Hessian brings a finely honed sonic identity shaped by deep, immersive soundscapes, intricate rhythms and hypnotic melodies. Following standout releases on Anjunadeep and Lane 8’s This Never Happened, as well as his debut EP ‘One Last Touch’ on Colorize, Hessian has become one of the scene’s most exciting rising producers. With over 50 million streams worldwide and support from Lane 8, Le Youth and Above & Beyond, his contribution adds both scale and nuance to the collaboration.
Completing the trio, LA-based songwriter and artist LeyeT lends her signature lyrical sensitivity and melodic instinct. Known for her smart, relatable writing and work across the global dance and pop space, her vocal performance on ‘the art of letting go’ anchors the record’s emotional core - delivering a message that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Prior to ‘the art of letting go’, mölly has already built a strong creative foundation with both collaborators. Her first outing with LeyeT came on ‘Wild Again’ released as part of mölly’s debut on Colorize in 2024 and introduced their natural synergy - pairing emotive songwriting with melodic production.
mölly also previously joined forces with Hessian on ‘Shine’ alongside Afnan Prince, released in September on Colorize as part of Hessian’s ‘One Last Touch’ EP. Together, these collaborations highlight an evolving artistic relationship rooted in emotional storytelling and refined electronic craftsmanship, making ‘the art of letting go’ feel like a natural and highly anticipated next chapter.
‘the art of letting go’ marks another compelling step forward for mölly, continuing to define her as an artist guided by intention, emotion and a refined sense of sonic storytelling.
