After the success of ‘Africana,’ Breyth is back with another Deep Root Tribe release called ‘Dogs At The Door,’ a powerful Afro House collaboration featuring Kususa. The track is driven by commanding drums and intricate djembe work, creating a deep, magnetic groove that’s perfect for the dancefloor.
The inspiration for the song traces back to Dubai, where a brief post-show meeting led to an instant creative connection between the artists. The title was inspired by a simple moment: Breyth’s dogs waiting at the door. By blending rich percussion with a strong artistic identity, ‘Dogs At The Door’ stands out as a bold Afro House release.
Breyth is known for blending African rhythms with electronic beats, creating a captivating sound that has attracted a global audience. Kususa is an electronic dance music DJ and production duo from Durban, South Africa. The duo consists of Joshua Sokweba, known as Kunzima Theology, and Mncedi Tshicila, known as Samurai Yasusa. They produce electronic dance music that incorporates elements of house, afro house, and techno. The name "Kususa" is a combination of their stage names and translates roughly into the Shona language of Zimbabwe as "to start over."
