Updated April 11 at 12:29 p.m. PT: This article has been updated to include Anyma's statement indicating that he and festival organizers are working on a "solution."

Anyma’s April 10, Weekend 1 performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been canceled due to high winds impacting stage production. Coachella notified attendees in an official schedule update shared approximately 15 minutes after Anyma's scheduled midnight start time.

“Due to strong wind conditions affecting Anyma’s stage build, he is unable to perform tonight,” the statement reads. “Coachella and Anyma have made this decision together with your safety as the priority."

"I’m sorry everyone. We’ve done everything in our control to build the show I’ve worked an entire year on. Safety always comes first and we’re working on a solution now," Anyma later wrote in a comment under Coachella's Instagram post regarding the cancellation.

He elaborated in a separate post published the evening of April 11, confirming that the Weekend 1 set would not be rescheduled.

"I’m heartbroken. I don’t have many words other than to say I’m truly devastated and deeply sorry to everyone who showed up to the main stage, and to those watching the livestream at home," he said. "...Unfortunately, there are no other slots available for me to perform the ÆDEN show this weekend. I’m working on a solution to bring you some music at least, but I don’t want to impose on the other artists’ slots. Updates soon."

The Genesys producer was slated to present the world premiere of his new live show, ÆDEN, from the festival's main stage (Coachella Stage) on April 10, with a second performance set for April 17 (Weekend 2). The cancellation follows the April 9 release of his latest single, "Bad Angel" with LISA.
