Following his monumental label release ‘Heartbeat’ last year, Frankfurt-based artist PARAFRAME returns to Purified Records with his highly sought-after record – ‘Strong’.
Speaking about ‘Strong’, PARAFRAME mentioned:
The track ‘Strong’ is a gentle reminder, through its harmony and lyrics, that music has the power to empower us and make us stronger, no matter what, especially in these difficult and sometimes downright crazy times. This is what I felt when I wrote the main chords in the breakdown of the track.
Making a massive impact in Nora En Pure’s sets around the globe over the past few months, including her Purified 500 stream from the South African Wilderness, the track has quickly become one of the most anticipated IDs on dancefloors worldwide.
Combining his skills as a writer, director, producer and composer, PARAFRAME aligns sound and art through cinematic storytelling. His multidimensional approach resonates seamlessly with the ethos of Purified Records – rooted in emotive soundscapes, atmospheric depth and a strong connection to the natural world.
The ‘Strong’ artwork showcases an aerial photograph of an Icelandic glacier by Jan Erik Waider (@northlandscapes). Glaciers rely on cold summers and consistent winter snowfall to grow and maintain their size. When temperatures stay low, snow accumulates and slowly compresses into ice, allowing glaciers to remain stable. However, rising global temperatures are disrupting this process, causing snowfall to decline and glaciers to retreat. Protect Our Winters is an organization dedicated to fighting climate change and protecting cold environments. They mobilize outdoor communities, raise awareness about climate impacts, and advocate for policies that reduce carbon emissions in order to preserve snow, glaciers, and the future of winter.
Based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan Erik Waider is a fine art photographer renowned for his abstract portrayals of northern landscapes. Focusing on water, ice and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty found in the world’s most subtle details.
