Max Styler, Vintage Culture, and Ali Love's "Freaky 1" is a hot 1. The proof is in the Ultra Miami playback from March 27, where Styler joined the AFFAIRS label head at the Resistance Megastructure to usher in the 2026 dance/electronic festival season – and drop a collaboration that'll be heard throughout it.

It takes just one spin for its hook ("That's that freak/that's that freak/yeah that's that freaky one") to set off in an endless loop in our minds. That's that staying power, and with a cut as charismatic and replayable as this one, it won't wane anytime soon.

Though "Freaky 1" trails Vintage Culture's Dec. 2025 remix of the Nu Moda boss' label-launching single, "You & Me," that's not where the song started.

"This track came about pretty unexpectedly. Originally, Lukas [Vintage Culture] hit me up to remix the first version of this song a couple of years ago, and he loved the remix so much that he wanted it to be the original. We started playing that version out for a while and loved it, but never found a time that worked for both of us to release it," Styler tells Beatportal.

"Fast forward over a year, and we were talking and told ourselves we would finish a new version ready for 2026 and make it a priority to release. The new version feels really special, and we are happy to finally have it coming out. Better late than never!

"It's an absolute honor to finally release a track we wrote with Ali Love in Amsterdam three years ago," adds Vintage Culture. "Inviting Max to collaborate felt natural – he was the first person we thought of for this one."
