Insomniac Shares Details for World Party Parade on Las Vegas Strip Ahead of EDC Las Vegas

Following Pasquale Rotella's announcement of a forthcoming "techno parade" during EDC Las Vegas' Music Through Music lineup reveal in February, Insomniac has unveiled the details for the free, all-ages event, taking place during EDC Week. Billed as "a celebration of love, unity, and dance music culture," the World Party Parade will bring more than 30 art cars, roaming renegade sound systems, and hundreds of performers to the Las Vegas Strip at 6 p.m. on May 14.

“It’s always exciting to bring something new to life, but the World Party Parade feels deeply personal. It’s unlike anything we’ve done before, and the idea of bringing people together to celebrate dance music culture right on the Las Vegas Strip through a music parade is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time," Rotella says. "We want to share this powerful culture with everyone, especially those experiencing it for the first time. There’s something truly transformative about it, and we believe it’s therapeutic, something that can genuinely benefit people when it becomes part of their lives. 

Opening this up as a free experience means more people can be a part of it and feel that connection, energy, and sense of community. This is about giving back to the culture, to the community, and to the city of Las Vegas, which has been such an important part of our journey. 

The procession will move down the Strip, passing Sin City strongholds like the Fontainebleau, Resorts World Las Vegas, and Circus Circus Hotel & Casino. Additional information about the event will be available via the parade's Instagram.

The World Party Parade serves as a pre-party to EDC Las Vegas, kicking off May 15 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
