April Highlights: Lisbon
From house and disco to schranz and hard industrial, April in Lisbon has something for every corner of the dance floor. Local talent and international heavyweights share the bill across a month packed with club nights and open airs worth marking in your calendar.

With the first days of blazing sun, the open-air season is officially kicking off in the Portuguese capital. Stellar festivals like LISB-ON, MOGA and Yard have locked in their final lineups, featuring some of the biggest names in the game. While the parties start earlier, there's still a great selection of places to dance until the sun comes up. Here are a few essential clubbing highlights to keep you moving this month.
Carpet Club invites 10 YRS Home Again w/ Paramida
Lisbon's essential record shop Carpet & Snares is hosting Berlin club festival Home Again's 10th-anniversary world tour, landing at the legendary Ministerium Club. Headlining the night is Love on the Rocks founder and Berghain mainstay Paramida, with support from Home Again's crew – Thabo, Thalo Santana, and DJ Butterhands – alongside Carpet's Jorge Caiado and Saramago.

Brunch Electronik + NEOPOP: Day & Night
This Saturday, techno heavyweights NEOPOP and Brunch Electronik join forces for a colossal takeover of Pavilhão Carlos Lopes. The day event kicks off with Deep Root Tribe honcho Francis Mercier, backed by Alex Wann, ARYMÉ, and Ayasha. Come evening, the drive ignites: Russian techno star and Trip Recordings owner Nina Kraviz headlines alongside legendary German duo Pan-Pot, with the simmering support of BIIA, U.R.Trax, and BETIX. An all-day, all-night journey into sound.


DEVIANTS × BALAGAN Breakfast
After a weekend of heavy hitters, Sunday still has something to say. Deviants and Balagan – two queer dance floor families running at different speeds – are joining forces for a breakfast rave worth staying up for. Residents Møski and Nicolle Velcro go b2b, while Balagan brings Aníbal and Djooke to complete the bill. The perfect send-off to a big weekend.

Riktus x Push. with AZDAT
By now, Riktus has made a pretty convincing case that Thursday is a perfectly acceptable night to lose yourself on a dance floor. This week, they're doubling down, teaming up with Spanish collective Push. Gatherings for a takeover of Lisbon’s Ministerium Club that runs the full spectrum from schranz to hard industrial. Marking his Lisbon debut, AZDAT headlines alongside ACIDMIKE b2b Symmetrical Abstract, GOST'EM, Luna Lunekova, and Maradei.

That Party! w/ Marie Montexier, Prosumer & Berberan
Following a wild edition with Jen Cardini (pictured above), Those Who Dance returns with Lisbon's beloved That Party. This time, the multidisciplinary cultural space in Marvila brings Berlin favorite Marie Montexier to town, alongside Ostgut Ton's Prosumer and local hero Francisco Berberan.

Moga Begins 2026
The third highlight of the month at Those Who Dance locks into place with MOGA Begins 2026, bringing the festival’s energy into Marvila ahead of the season. A month before the main event, the focus shifts to the dance floor. Headlining the event are Beatport NEXT Artist Jennifer Loveless, MARICXS founder ISAbella, and NTS resident Moxie. They are joined by MOGA's co-founder Daox, and local hero Joe Delon.

Harbour Open Air with Traumer & E.Lina
Most serious Lisbon ravers have seen the sun rise from the balcony of Harbour Music Shelter. This time, the collective behind the city's favorite afterhours watches it set. For their first open air of the season, they take over Quinta do Joinal, inviting renowned French producer and Gettraum label boss Traumer, and Ukrainian underground artist E.Lina. Harbour residents Bernardo Vaz and John-E complete the bill, this time playing on the other side of the river.
