Rony Seikaly reveals “Walking Out Of The Dark” remix pack following global competition
Rony Seikaly selects four standout remixes from hundreds of submissions to his LabelRadar contest, bringing new interpretations of “Walking Out Of The Dark” to his STRIDE imprint.

Riding the momentum of his recent remix competition, Rony Seikaly returns with a new package built from the strongest submissions, bringing fresh interpretations of “Walking Out Of The Dark” onto his STRIDE label.
The original call, hosted via LabelRadar, pulled in hundreds of entries from producers across house, techno and beyond. It was a broad mix of styles and approaches, but Seikaly took a hands on route, listening through the submissions himself before narrowing things down. The final selection lands on four names with HIGHTS, Damian Leon, Kamina Milojevic and Bautista all making the cut.
Each remix leans into a slightly different corner of the club spectrum. Some stretch the track into more melodic territory, others tighten the groove and push the rhythmic elements forward. What ties them together is a clear respect for the tone of the original, that balance between introspection and functionality that has been shaping Seikaly’s recent output.
It’s really incredible to work on a piece of music and hear how other people interpret it. I feel so blessed and grateful that so many artists felt moved by my music and heard an opportunity to create something new.
- Seikaly
There is a sense that this project was less about finding a single standout and more about highlighting range. The selected producers do not just rework the track, they shift its context, offering versions that could sit in different moments of a set, from early build to deeper late night stretches.
The release also reinforces how STRIDE has been developing. It is still closely tied to Seikaly’s own productions, but projects like this show a growing focus on opening the door to new artists who fit within that wider sound.
