Casmalia Drops Defiant Bass House Heater “Don’t Tell Me How To Rave”
A no-rules, low-end heavy rave cut pulled straight from LA’s late-night circuit, already making serious noise online and on the floor.

Casmalia isn’t asking for permission on her latest track, “Don’t Tell Me How To Rave” – out now via All Ways Dance. The LA-based DJ/producer and vocalist taps straight into that warehouse energy with a beefy bass house roller, all pounding lows and a slick, robotic hook that basically dares you to move how you want.
This one’s already been doing damage. After dropping on SoundCloud late last year, it caught fire fast – #1 trending in the U.S. for over a week, a brief global takeover, and even a Times Square billboard moment to top it off. Not bad for a track rooted in the underground. Listen below.
Casmalia frames it as a love letter to the rave spaces that shaped her, pulling from years deep in LA’s after-hours circuit. You can hear it in the DNA – raw, unapologetic, and built for sweaty rooms over spotless playlists.
“I’ve been part of the underground rave scene in Los Angeles for nearly 15 years, and 'Don’t Tell Me How To Rave’ is my love letter to that world,” Casmalia tells Beatportal. “It’s inspired by the warehouses, late nights, and the unspoken freedom that first made me fall in love with dance music, before expectations ever got involved.”
