After months of whispers, rewinds, fan edits, and grainy phone clips doing the rounds online, Skrillex has finally dropped his long-awaited collaboration with Young Miko, “Duro” – arriving a full year after the pair debuted it together at Ultra Music Festival 2025.
Previously known as “Apaga La Luz,” the track has lived a long life in the wild, first surfacing during Skrillex’s Lollapalooza 2024 sets before becoming a staple in Miami last year. Now, after a full festival lap and mounting anticipation, it officially lands via OWSLA/Atlantic. Listen below:
“Duro” rides a sleek, Latin-leaning pulse, giving Young Miko space to flex her signature Spanglish delivery with effortless control. It’s a natural collision point: her melodic trap sensibilities cut sharply through Skrillex’s coiled low-end and stellar synth-line chops, striking that sweet spot between club pressure and crossover appeal.
The release continues Skrillex’s current LATAM-facing streak, following “Surfboard” with Tokischa and the São Paulo-linked heater “SYRINX” with Brazilian Funk disruptor RHR. If there was any doubt about where his ears are pointed in 2026, consider it settled.
