Berlin’s Amaeo is building fast momentum with a groove-led, emotionally charged sound and a growing platform for emerging talent across melodic house, indie dance, and electronica.

Amaeo steps in as Beatport’s Hype Label of the Month for March with a sound that feels equal parts emotional release and late-night propulsion. Founded in Berlin in 2023 by SKALA and Theologos, the label sits between melodic house, electronica, and indie dance, shaped by a shared vision of music that moves both body and mind.
They’ve moved fast, building out a catalog of 30+ releases from artists like Komilev, FAE, magic.made.by.r, INVŌKER, Ivan Masa, Julian Koerndl, MANTi, and The Yard Woman, while using their To Be Discovered compilations to bring new names into the mix and keep things evolving
At its core, Amaeo is built on that synergy. SKALA’s concept of “eSKALAtion” – pushing listeners to open up and leave the dance floor elevated – meets Theologos’ groove-led instincts, rooted in early house and shaped by Berlin’s darker club energy. The result is a sound that balances tightly wound low ends with airy melodies, blending organic percussion, glitchy textures, and rich synth work into something both powerful and deeply emotive.
It’s not just about the records either. Amaeo has been taking its sound on the road with parties in Berlin, Barcelona, and Amsterdam, building a community that feels open, inclusive, and properly connected.
Still early days, but Amaeo is already carving out its own lane, and it’s only getting deeper from here.
