Fedde Le Grand extends the momentum of his latest single with his "1, 2 Step" Chart, a set of 10 tracks designed to sit alongside his club-forward flip of Ciara and Missy Elliott's 2004 classic. Featuring productions from tone-setters like Tony Romera, Groove Seduction, Badger, and more, the chart keeps feet moving and energy flowing, just like his take on the enduring dance floor favorite.
It arrives as Le Grand's spin continues to pick up traction beyond the club circuit. The track was recently selected as Dance Smash on Radio 538 – the Netherlands' largest radio station. This distinction – typically awarded to pop-rooted records – rarely favors club-driven cuts, signaling the rework's reach beyond the dance floor.
With every release, I try to create something both DJs and fans instantly connect with. My tracks always start on the dance floor, if it doesn’t work there, it doesn’t exist. For me, it’s all about capturing that raw energy and selecting records that complement that same feeling or have inspired it in some way.
