Bart Skils & Weska re-unite for inspiring collaboration 'For the Music'
The annual link-up never disappoints.

Bart Skils and Weska link up once again for their latest joint release on Drumcode, continuing a collaborative run that has become a regular fixture on the label.
The Dutch-Canadian pairing has built a consistent catalogue together, with previous cuts such as ‘Shades of Summer’, ‘Something More’ and ‘Torn Clouds’ showcasing their shared affinity for groove-led techno with melodic detail.
Their new two-tracker keeps that foundation intact while shifting the palette slightly. Title track ‘For The Music’ leans into a punchy, late-night groove, driven by a prominent guitar riff and a vocal hook that threads through the arrangement.
On the flip, ‘Silent Pressure’ takes a more restrained approach. Built around a steady, rolling rhythm, the track gradually layers textural elements to create tension without overcomplicating the structure, making it a functional tool for DJs navigating deeper moments in a set.
