Beatportal Nominated for Best Music Media Resource at the 2026 International Dance Music Awards
The awards return for the first time since 2019 as part of the Winter Music Conference, which runs from March 24 – 26.

Beatportal has been nominated for Best Music Media Resource at the 2026 edition of the International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs), marking the platform’s first nomination in the category.
The IDMAs return for the first time this year since 2019 as part of the Winter Music Conference (WMC), reuniting two of electronic music’s longest-standing institutions during Miami Music Week, which runs from March 24 – 29. Originally launched in 1985 during the early years of WMC, the IDMAs were among the first global honors dedicated exclusively to dance/electronic music, recognizing the artists, producers, labels, festivals, clubs, media platforms, and industry leaders shaping the genre's culture worldwide.
This year’s program features categories recognizing both artistic achievement and industry impact. 2026 IDMA winners are determined by the IDMA Advisory Board and will be revealed during a Bridges For Music x IDMA reception at WMC on March 26.
Nominees across artist and industry categories were curated through a research and evaluation process conducted by the IDMA team in collaboration with members of the IDMA Advisory Board. The process incorporated "analysis of leading electronic music publications and industry media, publicly available chart and streaming data, major festival lineups, touring activity, and other widely recognized indicators of cultural and commercial impact within the global dance music ecosystem."
