Charlie Boon lands on Edible with "Motive," a sharp two-track statement that captures his instinct for pure dancefloor control
With Motive, Charlie Boon delivers a confident addition to Eats Everything's funky imprint, underlining both his evolution and the label’s ear for records that are built to last on the dancefloor.

“Motive” is a driving, groove-led cut built around a bouncy rhythm and confident, evolving textures. Subtle melodic touches and tight rhythmic control create a steady forward push, keeping the energy focused and effective throughout. Clean, direct, and built to hold the floor.
On “On Lock,” Charlie Boon raises the intensity, dialling into punchy, rolling momentum. Infectious vocal stabs and firm rhythmic pressure keep the track locked into a hypnotic flow, building power through motion rather than theatrics. Tough, functional, and engineered for peak-time command.
Growing up above his father’s nightclub in Cornwall, Charlie Boon developed an instinctive connection to club culture from the earliest days. Now based in London, he has spent recent years building serious momentum through high-impact DJ sets and a run of releases backed by key tastemakers and BBC Radio 1.
A standout 2025, including a major club record, a return to REALM, and collaborations with ODF and Club Caviar, has accelerated his ascent, while festival appearances at Reading Festival and Boardmasters Festival have introduced him to rapidly expanding crowds. With early support from figures such as Jamie Jones, Rossi, and Josh Baker, plus a landmark debut at Fabric on the horizon, his trajectory continues upward.
