After kicking 2025 off with her first single of the year, ‘Let The Bass Kick’ on Eli Brown’s Arcane imprint, followed by the second single ‘Never Gonna Stop’ in February, she now releases the full EP on the 20th of March, with an additional 3 original cuts. Blending elements of techno with the unique cultural spirit of Japan comes effortlessly to Marie Vaunt, and her dual American and Japanese roots continue to shape her artistic identity.

Opening the EP is ‘303 101’, driven by a snarling 303 line that twists and opens up in stages. This cut locks into a tight techno framework laced with rave and schranz pressure. Compressed kicks and sharp percussion keep the groove relentless, while an attention-grabbing vocal slices through as rhythmic punctuation rather than pure topline. It’s structured for peak-time impact, engineered to rise, snap, and detonate on big systems.

‘Never Gonna Stop’, the second single, opened with a thundering warehouse beat. Hammering bass, whistling pads, and reverberating hard techno grooves that churn without fear, alongside Marie’s vocals in stark contrast to the bass. Leaning into psy grooves with flashes of breakbeat and hardcore attitude. ‘My Prada’ rolls on a hypnotic low-end offset by off-grid percussion and broken rhythmic accents. The vocal takes centre stage again, chopped and reintroduced to heighten tension as playful fills and rapid edits keep the arrangement agile.

Debut single ‘Let The Bass Kick’ is a full-force acid-techno weapon. Relentless, driving, and designed to dominate the dance floor. Built for massive festival systems and underground club nights.

Closing the release is ‘Like a Fool’. A stripped-back and shadowy tone, this track balances urgent drums with spacious, eerie synth work that carries a subtle early-2000s edge. The vocal sits woven into the atmosphere, adding tension without dominating the mix. It’s mysterious yet purposeful techno that blends nostalgic tension with modern precision, built for darker moments in the set.
