How LE YORA Are Stepping Things Up in 2026 With A Radiohead Rework and Coachella Debut

For SOMMA, JEWELS and YUMA, music is just the entry point into the larger creative universe of their DJ collective as they drop their Radiohead reinterpretation ahead of their Coachella debut.

Ahead of their Coachella debut, LE YORA have just dropped their reinterpretation of Radiohead’s "EVERYTHING IN IT’S RIGHT PLACE." The collective, SOMMA, JEWELS and YUMA are positioning themselves as something deliberately bigger than a DJ trio and talk about the project less as a group and more as a growing universe. “For us, music is about energy,” they say. “We draw on a variety of influences and there’s a big emphasis on experience as a larger concept, it’s the convergence point between community, art, music, lifestyle, and more. You can just distill it down to ‘vibe’ too.”

From the beginning, they wanted LE YORA to feel layered rather than linear. “We wanted to be proactive in how we present our experience and energy,” they explain. “It doesn’t matter that everyone experiences what we’re presenting in the same way, but it should be felt that there are layers to what we want to build.” That mindset, treating music, visuals, fashion and storytelling as a single language has shaped the project since its formation in 2021, when the trio first connected through Discord and began collaborating across continents.

Their differing backgrounds continue to shape the music itself. “We all play off each other’s energy and ideas,” they say. “Often one of us will sketch the initial idea and then the others layer in production and different elements.” They gravitate toward analogue tools and tactile processes: “Creatively, we like to work with analogue tools and instruments; the best ideas come from real moments.” Within the shared catalogue, they maintain a clear distinction between collective and individual work. “Records where LE YORA is tagged first represent our larger, more ambitious ideas,” they explain, while solo releases function more as DJ tools. “We contextualise our solo releases as DJ tracks and collective releases as main-stage moments.”

That sense of ambition is tied to their decision to build LE YORA outside the traditional underground label circuit. “We have a lot of love for the underground scene and traditional DJ-label ecosystem,” they say, but independence allows for creative freedom. “It’s essential to us that when we go into the studio, we don’t have any idea or pre-conceived notion of what things ‘should’ sound like or how they’ll be digested.” In fact, they add, “we didn’t want to be DJs until we understood that the music we were making needed to be presented that way.” By working with partners outside the usual dance music pathways, they’ve been able to keep the project fluid. “We’ve decided to work with partners outside of the DJ-scene who lean ahead of what’s trending in dance music to give us more creative autonomy.”

Despite their strong visual identity, one that pulls from rock, hip-hop, club culture, and fashion, the music remains the anchor. “It always starts with the music,” they emphasize. “The visual storytelling is all just to give extra attention to what’s happening sonically.” Their attention to aesthetics, they admit with a grin, is partly instinctive: “Honestly, we just like this stuff anyway.”

Their hands-on approach extends to directing videos, designing print materials and developing a clothing line. That level of control comes at a cost. “It definitely does slow down music output,” they admit. Still, they see it as necessary. “At the ground-level we are extremely intentional with our choices and oversight on all things creative.” The long-term vision includes expanding into parties, fashion, and collaborations with other artists, but they’re not rushing. “Part of the thesis around LE YORA is to build a creative world and collective,” they say. “It just doesn’t make sense to open things up like that yet… Passion should guide how the collective spends its time.”

Their new cover of Radiohead’s "EVERYTHING IN IT’S RIGHT PLACE" reflects that patience. The idea began years ago and evolved alongside the project. “We’re not sure it’s ever the ‘right’ moment to do a cover or re-work like this,” they say. “This was an idea that started nearly three years ago and has since grown and developed with us.” Only when it felt complete did they move toward releasing it. “When it finally reached a point where we all felt like it could come out… we started moving towards finishing the idea.”

Approaching such a beloved track required a delicate balance. “We always trust the fundamentals,” they explain. “Keep the original elements, like hook, melody and instrumentation, in one solid piece so you can recreate them in an authentic way, then infuse that core with your own artistry.” Their version, they stress, isn’t meant as a straightforward club update. “Our version is not an ‘update’ or a ‘dance-floor rework’, it’s just different and our tribute to a critical influence.”

The track also reunites them with Magnus, a collaborator whose voice was central to the project’s early sound. “Magnus is an essential part of LE YORA’s DNA,” they say. “He fulfills the role of an entire room of people when we work together.” Because he was involved when the track began, finishing it together felt natural. “We have an open-door policy with the creative relationship and flow.”

Early support from major DJs like Diplo and Richie Hawtin has helped build momentum, but the trio remain grounded about what lies ahead. “We’re very lucky that our work frequently resonates with other, larger artists,” they say. Still, they’re cautious about expectations. “We don’t have any presuppositions about where our project will go in 2026… Our dream as artists is to be able to make music and then share that art with others.”

Their Coachella debut marks a milestone, but they see it as part of a longer journey. “The validation and exposure are amazing,” they say, expressing gratitude to the promoters and tastemakers supporting them. “The truth is it’s another step in the world we’re building and a huge chapter in the story but we’re just getting started. In some ways, this feels like the real beginning for us.”

Live shows remain central to how the project connects with audiences. “Playing to the room is at least half the job of being a DJ,” they note, adjusting each set to its context. Yet one thing remains consistent: “If we know people are coming to see us then we play mostly originals.” The LE YORA sound, they add, “is fairly dynamic, evolving and combines multiple influences, however we always stay true to its core identity.”

They currently describe the project as a “DJ collective,” but one that could expand. “LE YORA is the group project between us three solo artists for now,” they explain, “but in time we want the brand itself to also evolve and include other creatives.” Creative decisions remain intuitive. “We all agree or we don’t. The creative decisions are our easiest choices. We just know when it fits and when it doesn’t.”

Looking back at how far they’ve come since forming online, unpredictability stands out. “We’ve experienced success and setbacks in waves,” they reflect. “What’s most surprising is that we truly never know what’s going to connect or be most meaningful to others. That’s why we just make everything for ourselves.”

As for the year ahead, the focus is on growth. “We’re planning to continue working on our sophomore album in 2026 and are excited to get back in the studio,” they say. With new shows and new cities on the horizon, they see 2026 as foundational. “This year is critical in continuing to lay the foundation for what we want to do in the future and beyond.”

For LE YORA, evolution is the point. “We’re big believers in immersions and eras; a project should expand over time,” they say. “This is a journey and experience we get to share.”
