West Coast lifer Dj Warning is built for the long haul. The LA-based selector and Gyration Station affiliate keeps his sets locked into a rolling pulse, threading together deep and delectable cuts of tribal techno, cloudy trance, and hard-hitting house with the type of muscle you can feel from the booth.

Raised on ‘90s and 2000s rave pressure, he’s carried that bounce from underground LA warehouses to NYC sweatboxes and dance floors across Mexico City, London, Paris, and beyond. Along the way, he’s shared bills with left-field tastemakers like Priori, Chippy Nonstop, Skream, Partiboi69, and Sally C, always championing positivity, passion, and pleasure one seamless blend at a time.

Fresh off his tongue-in-cheek Tom Hardy EP and his debut Cinematic Dance Musiq EP from last year, he now turns his focus to Skyline Festival, where he’ll bring that steady pump to the Arts District stage.

“This chart highlights the many flavors of Tribal Progressive House from 2000 to 2010. People tend to forget about these years, especially 2005 to 2010, because the sound was moving closer to the EDM style that dominated the 2010s. Expect to hear a variety of it during my set at Skyline Festival.”

Dive into his selection below and lock in for Skyline’s fifth anniversary celebration, February 28 – March 1.
