Hype Label of the Month: Palosanto
Oktave’s New York-rooted imprint's melodic Afro House output brings with it a true studio-to-stage philosophy, turning releases into real-world moments across a global community.

Palosanto steps up as Beatport’s Hype Label of the Month for February with groove at its core and community in its DNA. Founded in New York City by French-American DJ and producer Oktave, the label grew out of a cultural event platform and into a full-blown Afro House hub with a melodic edge that is built on emotion, rhythm, and real dance floor connection
This isn’t a “drop a record and hope” operation. Palosanto runs on a true studio-to-stage mindset, linking releases directly to more than 50 yearly events across rooftops, boat parties, and packed club nights. The roster reflects that energy, featuring artists like JUNO, Kassin, Temil, AUGUSTE, Ricardo Trueba, Alberto Hernandez, MANU, and more, all pushing groove-led, melody-rich house that feels just as strong at sunset as it does at 3 AM.
Oktave keeps it personal. If the music connects and the vibe is right, you’re in the family and likely on the lineup next. We link up with Oktave to dive into the label’s origins, its global roster, and the essential starting point for new listeners.
