GORDO & Reinier Zonneveld Drop the Summer’s Most Anticipated Anthem, “Loco Loco”
After virally spreading across the global club circuit as a mysterious ID, the unexpected collaboration between GORDO and Reinier Zonneveld has finally landed, officially igniting the 2026 festival season.
Before a single name was attached to the project, “Loco Loco” was already a digital wildfire. The track’s journey began with a "who-did-this?" frenzy on TikTok and Instagram, with over ten thousand Instagram Reels and countless TikTok creations, fueled by GORDO himself teasing the crowd with an ID he claimed to have found in his DMs.
The track spread all over the circuit, until it turned out the "anonymous" banger was a years-in-the-making project from Reinier Zonneveld that finally found its perfect home in GORDO’s high-energy sets.
When Reinier sent me the original demo, it was a straight techno record, but once I heard that catchy original vocal I knew with a more dance-forward arrangement Loco Loco had the potential to be one of the biggest records of the year. As we started seeing the demand and virality grow online, it became clear this record needed to be released ASAP.

Sonically, “Loco Loco” is a masterclass in cross-genre synergy. It perfectly combines GORDO’s signature Latin-infused House grooves with Zonneveld’s relentless Acid Techno drive, and the vocal shift between Spanish verses and an English chorus (“I want you, yea-ah.”) completes this sonic alchemy.
The industry’s elite have already taken note. Long before today's official drop, the track was a staple in the sets of industry heavyweights such as Adriatique, Vintage Culture, MEDUZA, WhoMadeWho, Mind Against, Hugel, Seth Troxler and Stephen Jolk, who have been spinning it on repeat, proving its versatility from gritty basements to sunset parties on the beach.
