Deep Root Tribe, the Afro House sister label of Deep Root Records, releases 'Africana,' a new song by Angolan DJ and producer Breyth.

Born from a spontaneous moment in the studio, 'Africana' features deep, flowing drum patterns inspired by Amapá rhythms, coupled with a strong Afrobeat groove. The track opens with a vocal repeating the word “Africana,” which means a woman of African descent, immediately setting the tone. The production is both powerful and hypnotic, resulting in a rhythm-driven, club-ready track that celebrates African roots, femininity, and movement with a modern edge.

Breyth, originally from Angola and now based in Lisbon, is the founder of Arrifana Records, a leading reference in Afro House music in Portugal. He masterfully blends African rhythms with electronic beats, creating a captivating sound that has attracted a global audience. With over 37 million streams across digital platforms, his productions have been featured in sets by renowned artists such as Shimza, Seth Troxler, and Major Lazer. His music has also been highlighted on platforms like BBC Radio in the UK, enabling him to perform at major events, including the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Luso Afro in Berlin. He has taken his sound to international stages in the United States, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Morocco, Germany, and more.
