Mark Reeve returns to Drumcode with explosive ‘Body Drops’ EP

Mark Reeve launches 2026 in emphatic fashion with Body Drops, a powerful new EP marking his return to Drumcode. The release follows closely on the heels of his recent A-Sides appearance with My Mind, reaffirming the veteran producer’s status as one of techno’s most reliable heavy-hitters.
With over 15 years of studio mastery behind him, Reeve has built a reputation for high-impact, precision-engineered techno. Releases such as Run Back, Distance, and his celebrated collaboration with Adam Beyer, Nine of You, stand as enduring reference points - and Body Drops continues firmly in that lineage.
The title track found its way onto Drumcode via Bart Skils, a long-time peer and trusted musical ally.
Bart and I have a very good musical understanding and we really respect each other,” Reeve explains. “When he said he thought this would fit Drumcode, I sent it over. Adam came back with a massive yes, and it went from there.
Reflecting a broader shift in the label’s sonic direction, Reeve notes a renewed inspiration in Drumcode’s recent output:
