Beatport Live is heading north this spring, bringing its touring container stage 'The Block' to Scotland for the first time as part of Terminal V Festival 2026. Touching down in Edinburgh on April 18–19, the activation extends Beatport’s real-world mission of championing emerging selectors, plugging straight into the final Edinburgh chapter of one of Europe’s most uncompromising techno gatherings

Built from a converted shipping container and engineered for high-impact discovery, 'The Block' has already proven its weight on the circuit. Its debut at London’s Junction 2 last summer drew more than a thousand mix submissions, with winning DJs stepping up for packed-out sets alongside surprise guests, cementing the stage as a beacon for rising talent and grassroots dance floor energy.

At Terminal V, that momentum continues with a fresh DJ competition, giving selected artists the chance to take control of the decks and join a secret guest lineup to be revealed soon.

Set for April 18–19 at The Royal Highland Centre, this marks the last Terminal V to take place in Edinburgh after a nine-year run that has grown the festival into one of the UK’s largest electronic events.
