Swedish progressive mainstay Jeremy Olander has officially announced his long-awaited debut album, When The Rain Falls, marking a major milestone in a career that has quietly helped shape modern melodic and progressive house for over a decade. The first glimpse into the project arrives via its lead single “Apollo,” a collaboration with Moontalk that sets the emotional and sonic compass for what’s to come.
“Apollo” leans into the melodic DNA that has always defined Olander’s sound. Warm chords, buoyant arpeggios, and a sense of forward motion give the track an uplifting glow, while still retaining the depth and patience that progressive fans crave. It feels both nostalgic and current, bridging eras without getting stuck in either. As Olander explains, “When ‘Apollo’ started coming together, it felt like the perfect track to set the tone with for my debut album. It’s got a catchy, energetic and happy vibe that will hopefully draw people into checking out the rest of the album out!”
That balance between timelessness and modernity is very much by design. For Moontalk, the collaboration was about honoring roots while pushing things forward. “‘Apollo’ is our love letter to early progressive house, reimagined for today. Melodies never die,” they share. “Working with Jeremy Olander has been an inspiring journey, and together we wanted to bring that timeless feeling into the present.”
While details around the full album remain under wraps, “Apollo” makes one thing clear: Olander isn’t rushing this moment. Instead, he’s opening the door with intention, inviting listeners into a body of work shaped by years of refinement, emotional storytelling, and a deep respect for the genre’s past, present, and future.
Jeremy Olander's debut album When The Rain Falls arrives on March 13 via Vivrant.
