After more than a year of road testing, the hotly anticipated ID finally touches down on Hellbent Records, channeling ‘90s nostalgia through a hypnotic groove that feels warm, full, and stimulating. Jocelyn Enriquez’s lulling topline sounds tailor-made for “XTC,” amplifying the track’s cohesion – and the sense that this one could make just about anyone slip into a technicolor trance.
