On January 27th, Insomniac’s In/Rotation launches 2026 with Rotate Vol. 6, its flagship compilation series celebrating eleven forward-thinking artists redefining modern club culture. Opening the release is Broken Hill with ‘That’s Hot’ – a razor-sharp, minimalist dancefloor weapon that has become one of his most demanded IDs of the year.

Driven by a bold bassline, hypnotic groove, and a vocal he captured on his iPhone in a moment of pure urgency, ‘That’s Hot’ embodies Broken Hill’s instinct for turning raw ideas into peak-time anthems. The track has already earned early support from heavyweights, including Adam Ten and Max Styler, landing as a standout before its official drop.

“I want my music to make people feel confident and like the best version of themselves,” Broken Hill shares. “This track is simple and built for the dance floor – I even recorded the vocal on my phone because every studio room was booked. That raw moment stuck, and it’s the perfect start to a packed 2026.”

‘That’s Hot’ arrives amid a standout run for Broken Hill, whose recent output has rapidly elevated him across the global electronic scene. His latest single, ‘GOAT’ with BLOND:ISH and Darco, broke into the Beatport’s Top 10 overall, with nearly 1M streams. In 2025, his chart-topping single ‘Brain Delay’ on Maccabi House reached #3 on the Beatport Indie Dance charts with support from Adam Ten, Enamour, and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, while releases like his remix of ‘Work’ by Kevin McKay on Glasgow Underground and his Another Freak EP on Monaberry earned acclaim from Solomun, Four Tet, BLOND:ISH, Innellea, Super Flu, Clüb De Combat, and more.

Rooted in his family’s deep Australian heritage but shaped by his life in the United States, the fast-rising producer grew up exposed to electronic music through his father, before working professionally as a producer and engineer. Today, he channels those foundations into a hybrid sound that blends house, techno, and indie dance with intention, emotion, and a distinct identity built for the dancefloor. With tours across North America, Europe, and South America on the horizon, Broken Hill’s debut appearance on Insomniac’s In/Rotation sets the tone for what promises to be his biggest year yet.
