MPH Delivers Punchy Remix of Four Tet’s “Only Human”
Months of anticipation culminate in the red-hot ID's release via Ministry of Sound Recordings.

It takes some serious finesse to spin a Four Tet song with the lore “Only Human” has into an ID that sends subreddits into the same refrain: “What was the remix played at [insert venue here]?” Clearly MPH has it, and he knows how to use it.
The UKG tastemaker’s remix of the 2019 cut plays like a bottle of soda that’s been shaken up and uncapped, pouring forth in a rush of effervescence exciting enough to make you want to see it – or in this case stream it – again. Think of it like the more Sagittarian-coded cousin to Four Tet’s demure, UKG-swung original, which famously sampled the opening track (“Afraid”) of Nelly Furtado’s 2006 album Loose. Turning the wise whimsy of “Only Human” into Red Bull-fueled fodder for the dance floor, MPH’s version delivers energy and groove with style, swagger, and his signature start-stop effect. Listen below.
Keep calm, Redditors: the remix heard throughout Four Tet’s sets – including his headline shows at Ally Pally last November (slide three in the carousel below) – is finally out via Ministry of Sound Recordings.
