Jyye and Julia Temos are bringing Australian heat to OH2 Records
‘Desire’ drops on Oliver Heldens’ imprint

Jyye and Julia Temos are going full throttle for 2026 and their long-standing collab history is expanding to new territory: OH2 Records. With ‘Desire’, the two Australian artists have found the recipe to brighten up your gloomy January day. Its summery deep house vibes are a one-way ticket to instantly boost your mood! This track will absolutely trigger your desire for more feel-good tunes!
Jyye: “This record came out of a session where Julia and I just wanted to have fun and explore something fresh. No expectations, no pressure... just experimenting until everything aligned. Once Julia laid the vocal down, the whole direction became clear. ‘Desire’ almost shaped itself.. every layer felt natural, and the vibe stayed effortless the whole way through. It was one of those rare sessions where everything fell into place, and we walked away knowing we had made something special!”
Julia Temos: “‘Desire’ uses very few lines on purpose. The lyrics are about connection rather than chasing, that instant feeling when something just clicks. Written in summer when confidence and love is the mood all round, it’s always naturally the perfect time for a new spark or fling even if you’re not looking for it. We wanted the words to feel light, open, and euphoric, like summer love itself. From the start, the idea was to make sure the vocal delivery matched the energy of the lyrics. I wanted it to feel like running into open arms, dreamy, comforting and effortless. The vocal stays soft and breathy so it carries the emotion without overpowering it.”
Jyye and Julia Temos are no strangers to each other: the Australian artists, hailing from Brisbane, have a long record of collaborations, including releases on Sirup Music, Perfect Havoc, and Selected. One of their most successful projects to date was ‘Running Back’, with currently 6 million streams (and counting) on Spotify. With further singles on Armada, Chillyourmind, and Future House Music (both together and solo), Jyye and Julia are paving their way to more success.
