There’s a first time for everything, including an Armin van Buuren and Lilly Palmer collaboration – or two. While their double-single, “Ayi Giri / Dopamine Machine,” feels overdue, it’s also potent proof that this team-up was worth the wait.

The sweat-inducing doozy arrives in an extended format built for black-clad warehouse crowds. On it, van Buuren’s surgical precision collides with Palmer’s raw, unbridled techno energy, conferring unrelenting intensity to both tracks, first teased during their surprise b2b at Amsterdam Dance Event last year.

"From the very first moment, the energy with Armin just clicked and felt meant to be," Palmer tells Beatportal. "Getting signed to Armada, releasing the 'Blah Blah Blah' remix, our b2b sets, and the now-legendary Face2Face at Ushuaïa Ibiza turned into a journey that was pure fire. Turning all of that magic into a joint EP, with Ayi Giri as part of my upcoming album, feels incredibly special."
