Diplo kicks off 2026 with experimental phonk project d00mscrvll
Following 2025's d00mscrvll, Vol 1, Diplo is back with nine new tracks on this full length album.

Renowned DJ and producer Diplo continues his journey into the lawless, genre-blending land of phonk music on his new full-length album, d00mscrvll. The album contains previously released songs with nine explosive new tracks bringing together the sounds of collaborators in the hip-hop, hyperpop and dance spaces. Across this project, he’s joined by Three 6 Mafia members Juicy J and Project Pat, as well as genre stalwarts Odetari, Kordhell, 1nonly, DVRST and many more.
As a lifelong fan of Memphis rap, Diplo credits much of his love for music to phonk. Transformed from its roots in 2000s Memphis hip-hop by hyperonline Russian teens, the genre is now taking a swing through Brazil and back into the mainstream.
When asked about the project by an another DJ / producer, they queried, “what were you on when you made this?”, Diplo’s reply is simple, “the internet."
